made my own lock ring pliers from a cheap set of import water pump pliers. these run about 12-15 new. real lock ring pliers? well about triple that. these can be made in about 10 minutes with a file and vise. have a few lock rings to test fit. a grinder can be used to remove bulk material but i used the files to shape the notches/teeth. they work great for fixie lock rings and bb lock rings. make your own!
